Mini Trip ! ! !

The start of this month has been crazy busy but so have all the other ones before it. I find it harder and harder to want to keep putting in my best effort. To give myself a bit of a break, I spent part of my weekend in Nashville. I think I needed some time away and I am ready to kick butt this week! ☀




Where to stay:
If you want indulge and have a little holiday away, check out Gaylord Opryland. It is such a stunning resort with a newly built water park attached. They really out do themselves with Christmas decorations galore! There are also little events like ice skating, tubing, and live shows on the property. Even if you don't stay a few nights, go for the fun of it and have a little wander.

Where to shop:
Just a walk away is Opry Mills, an indoor outlet store shopping center. You will definitely have a lot of options for food. Opry Mills is the perfect place for rainy day shopping or a great place to spend a few leisurely hours. If you want to shop on a higher end market, then the Mall at Green Hills is perfect for you! Also the crowds were not bad at all considering the time of year.

What to see/eat:

The Cheekwood Botanical Gardens is one of my favorite gardens. The expanse of the grounds is incredible with holiday light displays, a sculpture trail, and a beautiful mansion. The Pineapple Room, on the grounds, has some incredible food. The view out of the grand window is also beautiful. I would go back in a heart beat just to do more exploring ⚘
