π π π π is finally here which means plaid shirts, cozy sweaters, and pumpkins! It also means baking loads of treats. My favorite for this time of year is peach or apple cobbler. It's one of those desserts that's so easy to make, but is still has a lovely homemade feel to it. Serving individual portions also makes it easy to serve at family occasions. Just put on a little whipped cream and its good to go!
You will need:
π 1/2 cup of water
π 3 peaches
π 3 tsp. white sugar
π 4 tbs & 1 tsp brown sugar
π 1/2 cup of rolled oats
π 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
π 3 1/2 tbs unsalted butter (cold, diced)
π 4 individual ramekins
Preheat oven to 350℉
Cut the peach into slices and then in halves. In a medium saucepan, add water, peaches, white sugar and 1 tsp. of brown sugar. Simmer and cover until peaches are softened.
In a bowl, mix together oats, flour, and the rest of the brown sugar. Add the diced butter and work it in with fingers until the mix resembles crumbs.
Spoon 1/4 of the peaches into each ramekin. Cover with topping.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden. Let cool for 5 minutes....
Serve with whipped topping π
That's all for now! Short, but sweet ♡ What's your favorite cozy, fall dessert?
