Birchbox Unboxing

Who doesn't like a little treat every now and then? How about once every month? Beauty subscriptions boxes are just right for you if you said yes to either of these questions. There's a wide variety of boxes to choose from including ipsy, birchbox, boxycharm, and glossybox. They all range in prices, so the brand you choose depends on your budget. I personally prefer ipsy and Birchbox because they are only $10 a month and they offer a wide variety of samples.

I just recently purchased a Birchbox and received it in the mail. With a code I was sent in my inbox, I was able to get another free box with it. All of the samples are customized to match your preferences from a quiz that you take. If you're curious to see what you could get in a subscription to Birchbox, keep scrolling!

First up we have the Spring box! ⚘This one came with:

Laura Geller New York LashBOSS Mascara  0.14 oz.
Long bristles add lenght, while short bristles add curl and volume.
(A little hint, most of the time there will be a sample size mascara included in the box.) Not overly thrilled with this, but I will definitely give it a go and see how I get on with it.

MAC Cosmetics Cleanse Off Oil  0.2 oz.
Formulated with olive fruit, evening primrose, and jojoba oil, this gentle makeup remover takes off all of your stubborn makeup.
Sounds lovely and is just what I need to go along side my face cleanser

ApotheCARE Essentials The Booster Shampoo and Conditioner  3 oz.
A silicone and paraben free set with rosehip, geranium, and aloe vera that is meant to add thickness and enhance natural movement of the hair.
I am very pleased with both of these and they match with my beauty profile well.

Winky Lux Glazed Lips Donut Lip Gloss in Sugar Glaze 💄🍩 0.05 oz.
A pearly, iridescent gloss that has glitter and a sweet scent!
This looks absolutely gorgeous! I'm so thrilled to give this a go!

Next, we have the free box. A little bit disappointed with these products even though they came free.

Liquid blendercleanser 3 mL sample sachet
A liquid cleanser made to use with the Beautyblender to remove dirt and makeup.
I have tried this before and I don't think it is worth the money. However, I will test it and see if the new formula change has made it better.

Coastal Scents Blush and Bronzer Palette 0.023 oz.
One blush and one highlighter from the new palette.
The packaging is really cheap and doesn't look like much. I'm debating on whether or not I keep this or give it to a friend.

Wilma Schumann Hydrating Collagen Eye Pads 1 pack
Eye patches with 100% collagen to brighten, lift, and depuff whilst helping to prevent wrinkles.
I have received these before. I do really like them and I've been needing an eye mask, so I'm excited to use these again.

Nelson J Bevery Hills Forever Smooth Creme 0.5 oz.
Made to keep hair strands smooth and straighten curls with every use.
I'm a little confused on why I got this because I don't have curly hair. I'll probably give this to someone else since it's not really of use to me.

balanceme Congested Skin Serum 0.24 fl oz.
A daily serum for all over or to use on pimples as a spot treatment.
I'm excited to try this because I get acne every now and then and what is potentially cystic acne on my forehead.

Birchbox Eyelash Curler 👁
I've never felt it necessary to use an eyelash curler, but this one looks really nice and I might just give it a shot. I'm actually kind of excited to try it out.

I hope this helped you decide if you want to try a subscription box or not. Have a lovely rest of your week!
