The thing that changed EVERYTHING for me
This year, I didn't make any goals. I made promises to myself for what I was going to accomplish. I feel like this has helped me so much more. I know it's only February, but I feel like one month can set the stage for the rest of the year.
The one thing that has changed everything for me is...
There are so many benefits to drinking water that I've never really considered. Since I have started being healthier in 2018, water has been very important in my everyday routine. I try to drink at least 4 16 oz. bottles of water a day. I always keep a bottle with me that is filled all the way up and in something convenient for me to take on the go.
I used to never drink water unless I did some sort of physical exercise or I wasn't in the mood for a sugary drink. Now that I am exercising every morning, water has been my go to drink. It has helped reduce the amount of sugary drinks I consume therefore helping me consume less calories, carbs, sodium, and sugar.
More Reasons to Drink Water
-It has helped my skin's texture and overall appearance, which has been so nice! My skin doesn't get as dehydrated in the cold weather plus, it has a healthy glow to it.
-I feel like I digest foods quicker and with a lot more ease
-I don't feel the need to eat as much because sometimes when you feel hungry, you're actually just thirsty*
-Drinking water is good for your body and it helps keep it functioning smoothly. (More than half of your body is made of water*)
-For some of the reasons from earlier, drinking water could help you lose weight*.
