Sampling Sephora Part 2
I started this series a couple months ago and I just got around to testing out the last of the products that I chose to sample. I tried out 3 things from the Korean skincare brand Erborian. All of the products from this brand had really high ratings, so I picked the products I was most interested in (and that were in stock😉). I have to say, I was pleased with all of the products I tried. I think it's just a matter of whether or not you want to spend the money on them.
I'll start with the first product I tried, the Yuza Sorbet. This is a lightweight, daily moisturizer that is supposed to protect the skin against the environment. There are small micro-capsules in the cream to nourish and brighten the skin. I loved the cooling sensation it gave my skin and the orange smell. It was very lightweight and nourishing but, if I didn't put makeup over it, there was a sticky film left over. I would give this product 4 stars overall.
Next up, is my favorite CC creme/foundation EVER! The Erborian CC Crème is so lightweight but, has an amazing medium/full coverage finish. I love that you don't have to worry about finding the perfect shade because the warmth of your fingers creates a custom color that matches your skintone. The only bad thing is that there are only two shade matches for fair/light and medium/tan skin. This is still a 5 star product for me, though.
Lastly, I tried the Glow Crème. You use this after primer but, before foundation, to blur imperfections and create radiant skin. The glow is really natural and it doesn't make you look oily. I like that the formula is smooth and not sticky. I would rate this a 4 out of 5 stars.
Have any of you tried the Erborian line? What product would you want to try?
