Artis Brush Dupe?!
I've been wanting an oval brush for awhile now and plenty of times I’ve missed the opportunity to get one because I wasn't sure. But, recently I was able to snag one up at my local Marshalls and I was so excited.
It was $7.99, which is a great price compared to the Artis brushes, which are $62 for the equivalent size. I tried it out with foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer (cream and powder), blush, and highlighter. For the foundation it wasn’t that great, but I also never wear foundation and I’m not used to the feel of it on my face. The brush did, however, blend out my concealer really well and created a nice even and smooth coverage. When I used my cream bronzer it was very difficult to blend because the cream dried quickly and was very pigmented, but the actual purpose of it is was to be an eyeshadow. The powders went on nicely and evenly which was great. If you have a less pigmented product this brush would be great to help pick up more of it. Overall, I loved it the most for my concealer and powder products, but be careful as it's easy to apply too much and remember to always tap off the excess.
If you are looking for an innovative way to apply your makeup or you want to get out of your same, old, boring routine, then this is definitely worth checking out (especially for just $7.99). If you can’t find one at a Marshalls or TJMaxx near you be sure to check out Amazon, but make sure you look at where the brush is shipping from. Thanks again and let me know if you’ve tried and liked this type of brush!
